We are specifically seeking a seasoned hospitalist who is comfortable managing a broad range of inpatient acuity and contributing to program quality and growth initiatives within a community-focused hospital environment. Opportunity Overview: Full-Time Position 7 on / 7 off Schedule 12-hour shifts 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Day Shift) Night Shift opportunities available with premium compensation Includes weekends and holidays EMR transitioning to EPIC E-ICU support model currently in place, transitioning toward expanded in-house coverage Departmental Scope: Hospitalists manage a wide range of inpatient cases including: Acute medical admissions Chronic disease exacerbations Post-surgical medical management Care coordination and discharge planning Collaboration with primary care and specialty providers Strong system-wide collaboration across Mercyhealth's Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin network.
