Neurohospitalist (M67473, M67474) Department of Neurology, VCU Health - Richmond, VA Mission or Goal of Unit: The mission of the Department of Neurology, the Division of Vascular and Critical Care Neurology is to provide state of the art comprehensive patient centered care for adults with acute neurological disorders, perform translational and clinical research to further understanding of disease mechanisms and develop new treatments, and train the next generation of neurologists and clinical neuroscientists. The Department of Neurology is committed to enhancing diversity among its faculty, staff, and students. Department faculty have a responsibility to provide service to their profession and our community. Chief Purpose of this position: This position is an Open Rank (rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications) full-time faculty position in the Division of Vascular and Critical Care Neurology. The faculty member must be board eligible or certified in Neurology and Neurocritical Care. The faculty member will provide patient care, engage in medical student and neurology resident and fellow education, and participate in clinical research.
