Hospitalist Physician Assignment Details Location: Ephrata, Pennsylvania Provider Type: Physician (MD/DO) Specialty: Hospital Medicine Practice Setting: Acute Care Hospital / Inpatient Coverage Type: Scheduled Start Date: November 9, 2026 End Date: April 30, 2027 Coverage Need: Approximately 7-14 Shifts Per Month and/or PRN Coverage Hospital Beds: 140 EMR: Epic No Call Compensation $185/hr Schedule 12-Hour Day Shifts Shift: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM Block Scheduling and Individual Shifts Available Approximately 7-14 Shifts Per Month and/or PRN Coverage Drive-In Providers Preferred Patient Population / Volume Primarily Elderly Adult Patient Population Approximately 15 Patients Per Day Approximately 7-10 Admissions Per Shift Approximately 4-6 Patients Rounded on Per Shift Clinical Responsibilities Provide Inpatient Hospitalist Coverage Perform Admissions Perform Daily Inpatient Rounding Evaluate and Manage Hospitalized Patients No Procedures Required Clinical Environment / Support Closed ICU No APP Support During the Primary Day Shift Cross-Cover APP Begins at 5:00 PM to Assist With Floor Coverage and Admissions Requirements Board Certified OR Board Eligible - Required Internal Medicine Preferred Family Medicine Physicians May Be Considered Active Pennsylvania Medical License OR IMLC Letter of Qualification - Required at Submission Candidates Requiring Licensure May Be Considered DEA - Required ACLS - Required BLS - Required Credentialing Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 Days
