• Schedule: Rotating coverage including days, nights, and weekends
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,870 - $6,950
• Orientation: 2-3 days of training and shadow shifts provided
• Setting: Large tertiary-care hospital with Level I trauma support

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient hospitalist experience required
• Board certification or equivalent physician qualifications in Hospital Medicine or a related specialty
• Ability to work rotating hospitalist shifts, including nights and weekends
• Strong inpatient rounding experience and comfort managing a high-volume census
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage for a diverse adult patient population
• Round on approximately 18-22 patients per day
• Partner with dedicated admitting teams and multidisciplinary support staff
• Participate in daily centralized MDRs and weekly grand rounds
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy tertiary facility
• Adapt to rotating coverage needs across day, evening, and overnight shifts
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and ancillary teams to support safe, efficient inpatient care
