Hospitalist opportunity in Dyersburg, TN Great opportunity to work alongside a dedicated, high-performing team supported by a clinical performance nurse, with access to resources that foster individual and team success. We are a tight-knit, well-established team of eight physicians, and one advanced practice provider (APP). Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality care through a daily rounding model involving three providers, with an average patient census of 12-15 per provider. On-call periods include admissions ranging from zero to a maximum of four to five patients. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, general surgery, urology, GI, endocrinology, orthopedics, and wound care specialists. Collaborate with a dedicated nocturnist for 7p-7a coverage and work alongside advanced practice providers (APPs) from Bethel University to contribute to teaching and expanding educational services. Engage in challenging cases within an open ICU setting, where our diverse services such as interventional cardiology, pulmonology, and nephrology support comprehensive patient care. We value work-life balance, with the option of a flexible schedule and a commitment to covering for one another when a team member is on leave. Our standard rotation is seven days on and seven days off, spanning Monday through Sunday. Qualifications Board certification or board eligibility in the relevant specialty.
