About the Practice:The practice consists of 11 OB/GYN generalist physicians, 15 laborist physicians, and 7 advanced practice providers as well as a strong administrative support staff. This group of providers has been serving the Columbia metro area for 20 years with a solid reputation for top notch clinical care. Hospitalist shifts will be done at either the Medical University of South Carolina East Campus or Prisma Health Baptist Hospital. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an excellent group of physicians in a growing area and a great hospital system. Looking for a physician who wants to work a few hospital call shifts on a tailored schedule or work full time focusing their career on Labor & Delivery.
Position Highlights:- Become a laborist with a supportive and large practice that provides comprehensive women's health services to patients.
- Join a group with 11 generalist OB/GYN physicians, 15 laborists working different schedules, and 7 advanced practice providers.
- Provide in-house coverage for Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic inpatient services.
- Perform emergency gynecological surgical care as needed.
- Collaborate closely with other OB/GYN providers, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals when delivering care.
- Full-time and PRN shift opportunities available. Flexible scheduling options.
- Hospital shifts will be at the Medical University of South Carolina East Campus and the Prisma Health Baptist Hospital.
- Hospitalist can expect to perform anywhere from 10-25 deliveries per month.
