What You ll Do
Provide emergent OB/GYN coverage including high-risk obstetric care
Collaborate with in-house anesthesia and MFM teams for patient management
Manage deliveries and obstetric emergencies in a hospital setting
Support private OBs with backup coverage when needed
Assist with neonatal care coordination (NICU level 3B on-site at the mothership hospital)
Involvement in the management of daily obstetric and Gynecology emergencies
Maintain documentation and compliance standards per hospital policies
What You Need Required:
Virginia medical license or eligible for licensure
Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
Active DEA license
At least 2 years of obstetric or hospitalist experience in a similar setting
Preferred:
Experience with high-volume obstetric units
Knowledge of Level 3B NICU operations
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
