Good afternoon. I have an opportunity for a hospitalist in a rural area of central California. It is about 1.5 hours from both San Jose and Oakland, and 30 miles from Stockton. This is in a 35 bed, low volume Critical Access Hospital where procedures are required. Once you accept a job and are credentialed in this facility, you will be a preferred provider for call backs June 3-6 (Saturday-Tuesday + Orientation the day before for providers that are first time in facility Approximate census is 10 patients daily. Must be BE/BC and new graduates are welcome. The required procedures are: central lines, intubations, vent management, and critical care management. NIH certification is required. You must have an activeCA license and clean background Shifts are 24 hours on site (12+ hour hospital shift + night call) Night rounding required before turning in. Travel, lodging and malpractice insurance covered. Meals covered on site. The EMR is Meditech.
