Opening: Hospitalist Physicians Start Date: ASAP, Local to northern California Location: Northern California Facility: Inpatient Hospital Length: Long term, 6+ months Hours: Various Shifts. Most shifts are 9 10 hours. Details: Client has four health centers seeking additional locum staffing pool in northern California. We are interested in seeking two local (ish) Hospitalists who will be willing to work at least 2 sites, at least one of which will require rounding in the ICU and doing procedures. If a candidate is able to work at all four sites that would be wonderful. If you are interested in more information, please respond and we have additional details readily available to include beds, Rounding Teams, Admissionist shifts, Average Census / workload, ICU information and much more. Credentials: Board Certified in Internal Medicine (or Family Medicine with at least 3 years with Hospitalist experience). Comfortable rounding in the ICU; an Intensivist is available for consults. Ventilator Management. Helpful additions: Art line, ABG, Intubation, Central Line Placement, LP, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis.
