JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: H-MD-132001 Profession: Physician Specialty: Hospitalist Job Type: Travel Location: Bullhead City, Arizona Coverage Period: Sep 01, 2026 Ongoing Shift Schedule: Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays Reason for Coverage: Coverage Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 66 patients per day Case Mix: General hospitalist cases including admissions Rounding: Included FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 139 beds Trauma Level: Level IV EMR System: Cerner PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 120 days JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Licenses: Active Arizona Medical License, Active DEA with AZ address DEA / CDS: Active DEA required Certifications: ACLS (AHA) or ATLS Experience: Minimum 1 year hospitalist experience preferred; new graduates considered with Medical Director approval Other Qualifications: Clinical activity logs for previous 24 months; CME certificates or summary for previous 2 years; comfortable reading own EKGs DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive hospitalist care including admissions, rounding, and discharges. Manage day and night shifts as part of a 7-on/7-off block schedule. Perform patient encounters and manage average 66 patients per 24-hour period. Handle nocturnist duties including admitting 7-9 patients per night. Collaborate with ICU and other departments as needed.
