About the Position: This position is located at Naval Hospital Bremerton, WA in the Internal Medicine Clinic. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Serve as a Physician in the Adult Primary Care Clinic. Perform a wide range of medical duties covering primary care and general internal medicine. Examine patients, order and evaluate the full range of radiology and laboratory tests. Evaluate and treat patients with multiple complicated problems who were screened and referred for follow-up. Supervise, teach and provide a consultation to other health care providers (nurse practitioners, physician's assistants, medical students and interns). Serve as a leader of a health care team comprised of other physicians, non-physician providers, and ancillary staff. Provide medical, consultative services and chart review for quality assurance purposes.
