Position Details Comprehensive inpatient medical care including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges Evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions Coordination with specialists, primary care physicians, and ancillary services Order and interpret diagnostic tests, imaging, and laboratory work Emergency response including codes and rapid response Participation in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees Patient and family education regarding medical conditions and care plans No procedures required Weekend, holiday, and call schedules: Rotating J1-Visa candidates will be considered Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Active and unrestricted Vermont state medical license Valid Vermont DEA license BLS and ACLS certification Vent management experience required Experience running codes required 2 Äì3 years of Hospitalist experience preferred Rural health experience preferred but not required
