Shift: day shift (12-hour shifts) Position Details Patient Population: Hospitalized patients Setting: Hospital Responsibilities: Provide direct medical care for hospitalized patients including admissions, daily rounding, and discharges; evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions; coordinate patient care; order and interpret diagnostic studies; document patient encounters; respond to medical emergencies including codes and rapid response situations; provide ventilator management; participate in clinical rounds and interdisciplinary meetings; educate patients and families; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
