A Hospitalist Medicine locum tenens opportunity is available at a 110-bed acute care hospital in upstate New York. They are seeking seasonal coverage during December and January, where the provider will be seeing 15 patients per shift. ICU coverage is required where the provider must run codes/RRT and intubations. The Hospitalist must also manage ICU Patients, and will do daily telemedicine rounds with a Critical Care Physician from a nearby hospital. Shift times are 12 hours working 7 am to 7 pm with no call; typical schedule is 5 on/5 off. Qualified candidates shall be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Family Medicine candidates should have a minimum of 5 years Hospitalist Medicine experience. Active license in NY is also required.
