Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director Position in Athens, OH Pediatrix is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director to lead our esteemed healthcare team at a leading medical facility in Athens, OH. Job Responsibilities: Lead a team of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists. Provide newborn nursery care with NICU support from Neonatologists. Manage 24/7 on-call coverage using a round and go model with call from home. Perform circumcisions and provide pediatric consultations to the Emergency Department. Collaborate with a team of Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists for coordinated care. Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and clinical research projects. Exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers.
