We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician for a 17-day assignment in Arizona, starting Dec 22, 2026. This role involves managing a diverse range of hospitalist cases, including direct admissions, transfers, and providing support to the ICU team during both day and night shifts, focusing on comprehensive patient care in a community with limited resources. Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive hospitalist care for a diverse patient population. Manage direct admissions from OR, outpatient settings, and transfers from outlying facilities. Conduct consultations and daily rounds. Handle a wide variety of cases including cardiovascular, infectious disease, endocrine/renal, pulmonary, GI, post-surgical management, alcohol withdrawal, delirium, and heart failure. Manage vasoactive and heparin drips, and co-manage insulin drips with the ICU group. Provide support to the ICU team as needed, assisting with tasks like drawing blood. Address common admissions such as pneumonia and respiratory infections. Demonstrate a proactive and adaptable approach to patient care, acknowledging resource limitations within the community.
