Job Summary Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7 days on / 7 days off (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) Provide clinical care to patients in accordance with regulations, including obtaining patient histories, ordering labs and diagnostic studies, and arranging referrals. Uphold excellent bedside manner and create a positive patient experience. Explain medical procedures and plans of care to patients. Responsible for inpatient care, rounding, admissions, discharges, and consults. Assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining, updating, and reviewing medical histories. Document patient care services in EPIC. Attend departmental meetings and professional training sessions as requested. Maintain knowledge of and adhere to applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA. Communicate effectively with physicians and medical staff to coordinate patient care.
