This position offers a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team that blends academic medicine with clinical practice across Dayton and the surrounding region. As a faculty member, you will play an integral role in educating and training medical students, residents, and fellows, while providing care to a diverse patient population in a variety of clinical settings. As a faculty physician, you will contribute to improving patient outcomes, advancing clinical innovation, and shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. Job Duties Participating in didactic teaching, journal clubs, clinical case conferences, and other teaching assignments for residents and medical students, as assigned by and in collaboration with the department and BSOM's academic leadership. Contributing to the division's clinical/patient care, research, and teaching missions. Clinical teaching, supervision, and patient care on the division's services, including a combination of contributions to the inpatient teaching service, Miami Valley Infection Specialists clinics; working with a large outpatient HIV population, other infectious diseases including but not limited to: Antibiotic therapy supervision, Complicated wound care, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Chronic urinary tract infections, HIV, Lyme Disease Regular outpatient clinical practice.
