NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island, a 591-bed university-affiliated medical center, NYU Long Island School of Medicine teaching hospital, and American College of Surgeons (ACS) Level 1 Trauma Center, is seeking outstanding physicians for two academic faculty opportunities: Academic Inpatient Hospitalist and Director of Hepatology. Academic Inpatient Hospitalist

Responsibilities include:

• Serve as the Attending Physician for the Gastroenterology Inpatient Consultation Service.
• Provide comprehensive inpatient gastroenterology consultation and management.
• Perform general inpatient endoscopic procedures in collaboration with faculty colleagues.
• Supervise and mentor gastroenterology fellows, physician assistants, internal medicine residents, and medical students.
