The Montefiore Einstein Center for Transplantation and the Division of Hepatology/Department of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine are seeking a dedicated Transplant Hepatologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team. We offer a high-volume, collegial environment serving a diverse patient population with complex liver disease and transplant needs. The position is currently open to candidates at the assistant, associate and professor of medicine levels, depending on experience and qualifications. Our liver transplantation program delivers comprehensive care to adult and pediatric patients, encompassing living donor transplantation and multi-organ transplantation in collaboration with the institution’s heart, lung, and kidney transplant programs. We are proud to have developed a successful integrated care clinic for patients with alcohol-related liver disease and offer Spanish-language, culturally competent clinics for Hispanic patients with advanced liver disease and/or alcohol-related liver disease. Our liver disease and transplant program is a multidisciplinary clinical practice which includes transplant/hepatobiliary surgery and hepatology within a single administrative structure. The hepatology and hepatobiliary practices operate in close conjunction with oncology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology to provide outstanding multidisciplinary care for patients with liver cancer.
