Brown University Health is seeking a hematologist/oncologist for the position of hematology/oncology inpatient consultant at the Miriam hospital, Providence Rhode Island. The successful candidate must qualify for a full-time medical faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. The candidate will work Monday through Friday, every other week. There will be no night or weekend responsibilities. The candidate will have responsibility for inpatient hematology and oncology inpatient consults and will have teaching responsibilities of Brown Medical students, house staff and fellows. The Miriam Hospital is an outstanding academic teaching hospital and has receive Magnet Award Designation for 6 consecutive periods. Minimum requirements include board certification or eligibility in hematology and oncology and an excellence of commitment to teaching medical students and house staff. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hematology/oncology fellow who would be graduating in June 2027. The position would quality for a J-1 Visa waiver. The candidate must have excellence in patient care and teaching, and a commitment to scholarly participation in the research programs of The Warren Alpert Medical School.
