About the Facility Location New Mexico offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of natural and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. The state is home to notable destinations including White Sands National Park, Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Gila Cliff Dwellings, and Petroglyph National Monument, alongside historic sites such as Taos Pueblo and the New Mexico Museum of Space History. Call coverage is required and includes weeknight call shared among clinicians, weekend 24-hour call, and response to questions from RNs regarding patients calling in with questions, patients receiving chemotherapy, and consults from the ED. Clinical responsibilities encompass the evaluation and management of hematologic and oncologic conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings, with access to clinical trials including phase 2 and phase 3 studies. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology is negotiable for this locum tenens engagement.
