Opportunity Information
Sutter Lakeside is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Outpatient Oncology Physician to join our patient centered cancer care team. This role is ideal for a physician who is committed to delivering high quality care, supporting patients through diagnosis and treatment, and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Core Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for new oncology patients
Assess patient history, labs, imaging, and pathology to formulate accurate diagnoses
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based care
Enter and manage Beacon infusion orders, including updates and modifications
Provide ongoing monitoring through scheduled follow-up visits
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care delivery
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology
Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
