Qualifications
The Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute (MGBCI), Division of Hematology/Oncology currently seeks applications from board-certified or board-eligible medical oncologists/hematologists for a faculty-based position emphasizing community clinical care at Wentworth Douglass Hospital (WDH) in Dover and Portsmouth, NH.
MGBCI at WDH currently employs eight (8) physicians and seven (7) Advanced Practitioners. MGBCI at WDH is a comprehensive community cancer center offering medical and radiation oncology as well as a broad range of services including gynecologic oncology, palliative care, support and wellness and survivorship programs. The program has grown to be recognized as a center of excellence for medical and radiation oncology across the region with a focus on personalized cancer care. This physician would work at locations in Dover and Portsmouth, NH seeing oncology and hematology patients and working in collaboration with our Mass General Brigham colleagues in Boston.
A record of success in the clinical care of hematology/oncology patients is essential. The incumbent will also join a disease specific multidisciplinary team on the main campus and /or community facilities. Candidates should be caring, compassionate, willing to involve patients and families in the decision-making process, and able to coordinate care with colleagues in various departments. Candidates must also be motivated to work with leadership teams in the community and the Boston campus.
Suitable candidates will have an MD or an MD-PhD, and Board Certification in Internal Medicine. Physicians with New Hampshire and Massachusetts licensure preferred but not required. Able to provide visa support for J1 and/or H-1B applicants.
