The Atrium Health Department of Urology is part of the nationally recognized Levine Cancer Institute and the Wake Forest School of Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center. We are a growing academic department, with its own residency and oncology fellowship programs, that provides comprehensive treatment of urologic conditions to patients of all ages. We are seeking a BC/BE Fellowship Trained Urologic Oncologist to join a team of five Urologists and three APPs. The Urologic Oncology program is a busy, multi-disciplinary team that is seamlessly integrated into Levine Cancer Institute, an integral part of the Wake Forest School of Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center. The team includes four GU focused medical oncologists and two radiation oncologists. Our center has a robust infrastructure for clinical trials across the spectrum of disease and is well equipped to support translational research collaboratively with scientists at Wake Forest School of Medicine. Our department includes 18 faculty encompassing the breadth of urologic care and a fully accredited residency program with two residents per year. There is also a one-year fellowship program in urologic oncology. Priority will be given to applicants with a strong commitment to resident training as well as an interest in clinical and translational research.
