Level 1 trauma center located in Marietta, just Northwest of Atlanta. Busiest Emergency department in the state. GME surgery residency program and teaching opportunities. Approximately 15% penetrative trauma Seasoned trauma program with large group comprised of 12 physicians, APPs, responsible for covering trauma, surgical critical care for trauma patients and acute care surgery. Flexible call schedule, in house trauma/EGS call requirement of 7 24-hour calls per month (or 14 12's). ICU week in rotation shared equally between partners.
