WVU Health System Medical Group (SMG) seeks a gastroenterologist to join a well-established and expanding hospital practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, diagnostic, and clinical skills.
Duties: Successful candidates will diagnose and treat patients with digestive disorders including liver disease, ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, cancers and other disorders of the gastrointestinal system in both the outpatient and inpatient setting.
Qualifications: Successful candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license. Applicants must have completed an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology. Applicants must be board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
