Seeking a dynamic BE/BC Inpatient Gastroenterologist (GI Hospitalist). This position will be responsible for all In-Patient GI Procedures as well as In-Patient rounding. The ideal physician would be able to perform advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS. This service is supported by 2 Full-Time, experienced In-Patient GI Nurse Practitioners, who do the bulk of the rounding and consult with the physician as needed or directed. Hospital has roughly 500 In-Patient Acute Beds, including a 72 bed ICU and Large, dedicated Endoscopy Suite. The schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off, covering the service for 24 hours. The expectation is 7a-5p in the hospital, with coverage by phone after hours. This service works along with our community GI Physicians to serve the patients of North Florida.
