Job description: A BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join our practice whose members include 6 physicians and 5 APP's in a physician owned independent practice with ASC -Position available for either general or interventional gastroenterology -Partnership track model including opportunity for ownership in a 100% physician owned Ambulatory Surgical Center or an employment model - 1 in 6 call, covering one hospital Location information: Our practice is situated in beautiful Upstate New York in the Adirondack region. This upstate area offers a low cost of living, excellent school systems, a short commute to work and a wonderful community to live in. It is minutes away from Lake George and Saratoga Springs with ample opportunities for outdoor activities including boating, golf and hiking in the foothills of the Adirondacks. The best skiing east of the Rockies is a short drive away to mountains such as Killington, Gore Mountain and Whiteface Mountain. Qualifications: -MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school -Completion of an accredited internal medicine residency and accredited gastroenterology fellowship -Board certified/eligible in gastroenterology -Ability to obtain an unrestricted New York State medical license -Demonstrated commitment to patient centered, evidence based care Compensation: - Base salary: $500,000 - Signing package: $50,000 sign on bonus - Medical/Dental coverage - Malpractice insurance - Productivity incentives
