North Florida/ South Georgia VA Healthcare System is seeking an experienced and dynamic Gastroenterologist-Hepatologist for the Medical Services. Oversee the administration of conscious sedation Perform standard GI procedures such as EGD (gastroscopy), colonoscopies, and other procedures Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with gastrointestinal diseases according to standard, usual, and acceptable methods and techniques Will supervise medical students, residents and/or fellows. Work in collaboration with gastroenterology advanced practice providers Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a.m.- 4:30 p.m.(Note: Work schedules are determined and approved by the supervisor. The incumbent may be required to work various shifts on a permanent or temporary basis based on facility/patient care needs).
