Wayne Health is a non-profit, multi-specialty academic group practice with over 400 dedicated physicians and advanced practice providers offering a full spectrum of care in 50 medical specialties.<br /> <br />Gastroenterology at Wayne Health has been designated a Center of Excellence for the treatment of liver disease. They are actively recruiting a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join a group of existing providers to care for our patients within the metro Detroit market.<br /> <br /><strong>What to Expect / Key Responsibilities:</strong><ul> <li>Monday - Friday Schedule with inpatient rounding and consults as well as performing routine GI procedures.</li> <li>ECRP experience is highly preferred but not required.</li> <li>Shared call among 8 providers.</li> </ul><strong>Requirements:</strong><ul> <li>Board eligible/Certified</li> <li>GI Fellowship Trained</li> <li>Active MI Medical Licensure/Willingness to obtain</li> </ul>Physicians, providers and researchers at Wayne Health are also faculty members of the Wayne State University School of Medicine who conduct research and clinical studies.
