Job Overview
The Staff Physician of Comprehensive Care provides primary care medical services to the high-risk patients of AltaMed. The Staff Physician manages the assigned patient panel.
Minimum Requirements
Physician with an active unrestricted California license to practice medicine by the Medical Board of California.
Valid license to practice medicine in the State of California. Board eligible/board certification required.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a physician (or NP), respectively, post-training.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Geriatric, Hospice, and/or Palliative Medicine preferred.
Previous experience with computer-based systems required; Electronic Medical Records experience preferred.
A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
Bilingual in Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.
