Job Overview

The Staff Physician of Comprehensive Care provides primary care medical services to the high-risk patients of AltaMed. The Staff Physician manages the assigned patient panel.

Minimum Requirements

  • Physician with an active unrestricted California license to practice medicine by the Medical Board of California.

  • Valid license to practice medicine in the State of California.  Board eligible/board certification required.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a physician (or NP), respectively, post-training.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Geriatric, Hospice, and/or Palliative Medicine preferred.

  • Previous experience with computer-based systems required; Electronic Medical Records experience preferred.

  • A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

  • Bilingual in Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.
