As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, emphasizing preventive care, health maintenance, and the management of chronic conditions. Your Role: - Comprehensive Care: Provide outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
- Preventive Health: Perform routine physical examinations, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, and provide preventive care services.
- Diagnostic Expertise: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and coordinate referrals to specialists when needed.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Collaborative Care: Work with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and medical assistants to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs to enhance the delivery of care.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with advancements in medical knowledge and evidence-based practices through continuing medical education and professional development activities.
