MUSC Health Orangeburg Primary Care is located at 1747 Village Park, Orangeburg, SC 29118. The program welcomed its first four residents in June 2026.

Required Qualifications:
BC/BE in Family Medicine
Unrestricted SC licensure and federal and state controlled substance registration
Demonstrated interest in the education of residents
Compassion, professionalism, and dedication to lifelong learning
Collaborative and collegial demeanor with commitment to high quality patient care
Position Highlights:
Opportunity for future leadership as the residency program continues to grow
Collaborate with the Residency Program Director to directly impact the organization, implementation, and continued improvement of the new training program
Split time between educational, administrative, and clinical care
Serve as a role model, mentor, and advisor to residents in the program
Participate in the selection, orientation, and evaluation of residents
Contribute to the development of program curriculum and evaluation tools
Provide appropriate levels of resident supervision to ensure patient safety
Assist with the incorporation and application of ACGME Milestones into evaluation tools
Participate in program evaluation and clinical competency committees
Prepare and deliver structured educational activities
Actively participate in faculty development initiatives
