About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency, Madigan Army Medical Center, CBMH Olympia Directorate of Branch Clinics Army Health Clinic Administration, located in Olympia, Washington. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Recruitment or relocation incentives may be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Advanced Leave Accrual or Advance in-hire may be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Serve as a recognized technical authority in Family Medicine and Urgent Care. Independently diagnose illnesses, prescribe treatments, and formulate evidence-based care plans Perform crisis interventions and life-saving procedures when necessary. Promote preventive care, health maintenance, and patient education to encourage lifestyle changes. Collaborate with facility and community resources to deliver multi-disciplinary care Apply new procedures and techniques in evaluating and treating complex cases. Conduct research to advance Family Medicine programs and improve care quality. Participate in Quality Assurance, peer review, risk management, and performance improvement initiatives. Offer guidance to other physicians and medical staff on urgent, emergent, and routine cases. Serve on committees, boards, and conferences to evaluate patient care and recommend corrective actions.
