Due to continued expansion, our client is adding a Family Physician to their team. Together, they are committed to building healthier communities by delivering comprehensive, quality health care with compassion and respect.
Responsibilities:
-Manage the acute and long-term medical needs of FQHC patients through physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines
-Ensure patients receive appropriate education and referrals
-Provide monitoring and continuity of care between clinic visits as required
-Record physical findings and other pertinent information in the patient's EHR within the timeframe established by the Quality Assurance -Program's documentation guidelines
-Participate in Quality Assurance activities as assigned
-Participate in peer review activities
-Work closely with the VP/Chief Medical Officer and administrative staff to help ensure individual provider productivity goals are achieved
Bring an affinity for working with culturally and economically diverse patient populations
Requirements:
-Indiana State Medical license
-Indiana CSR license
-DEA license
-CPR certified
-Board certification or board eligibility in a primary care specialty
-Medical degree from an accredited medical school
