GREAT RIVER HEALTH ! Join Iowa's FIRST all ABEM BC/Residency Trained group!! We started this group in 1999 and TWO of the founding physicians are still here! Walk in and hit the ground running with a stable and supportive ED team at one of Iowa's most financially secure health systems! Work alongside board-certified, residency-trained ER docs that allow you all the autonomy you're used to! Our PA's take patients round-robin with our docs.... not just getting the easier/urgent care/fast track cases... so its truly a team approach. You'll also find experienced and stable nursing and support staff to ensure a smooth transition into your new role!
Position Details:- Work an average of twelve, 12hr shifts per month for a full time position.
- Fair mix of shifts 7a - 7p, Noon-Midnight and 7p - 7a
- Cover 30 bed ED with an avg of 100 visits per day and 10 bed ED with 40 visits per day.
- Level III trauma center and community hospital sized ED's
- Excellent mix of pathology and plenty of interesting cases!
- Excellent work-life balance with a fair approach to scheduling and time off planning!
What We're Looking For:- 2+ years of experience in Emergency Medicine preferred but open to new grads
- A team-first mindset and strong communication skills
- Someone who takes ownership of their practice and contributes to the team's growth
- Comfort with autonomy and a passion for helping to develop and expand a growing service line.
