Position Overview
One of our Partners on Martha’s Vineyard is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a highly desirable locum tenens opportunity covering evening and night shifts at a community-focused Critical Access Hospital.
This assignment offers:
Approximately 10-13 shifts per month
Primarily night coverage
Epic EMR

Strong nursing and operational support
Providers will work in a collaborative Emergency Department treating a broad patient population in a true community Emergency Medicine environment. Experience in rural, critical access, or independent Emergency Department settings is highly valued.

Job Responsibilities
Provide Emergency Medicine coverage in a Critical Access Hospital ED
Evaluate and treat patients across all age groups
Manage emergency medical presentations independently
Perform standard Emergency Medicine procedures
Coordinate transfers when specialty services are required
Document patient encounters within Epic EMR
Collaborate with ED nursing staff and hospital administration
Maintain efficient patient throughput and quality care standards
