Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians (ABEM/AOBEM) for an outstanding long-term locum tenens opportunity at a modern, high-performing community hospital serving the rapidly growing Central Texas region.

With multiple daily shift options and ongoing scheduling, this assignment is well-suited for physicians seeking both flexibility and continuity.

Schedule
Multiple physician shift options available including:

• 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM
• 9:30 PM - 7:30 AM

Physicians should be comfortable working a combination of day, swing, and overnight coverage based on scheduling needs.

Practice within a modern 83-bed acute care hospital serving one of Central Texas' fastest-growing communities near Killeen, Temple, Belton, and Fort Cavazos.

The Emergency Department is designed to deliver efficient, high-quality emergency care while supporting physicians with contemporary workflows and collaborative advanced practice provider coverage.

• Approximately 43,700 Annual Visits
• 17 Emergency Department Beds
• Approximately 1.9 Patients Per Physician Hour
• Level IV Trauma Center
• Epic Electronic Medical Record
• APP Collaboration

Clinical Scope
Providers will evaluate and manage the full spectrum of community emergency medicine including:

• Medical Emergencies
• Trauma Stabilization
• Cardiac Emergencies
• Neurologic Emergencies
• Pediatric Emergency Care
• Orthopedic Injuries
• Procedural Sedation
• Critical Care Management
• Emergency Procedures
• APP Supervision

This environment offers an excellent balance of acuity, efficiency, and physician autonomy while maintaining access to specialty resources when higher levels of care are required.

Candidate Requirements

• Active Texas Medical License
• ABEM or AOBEM Board Certified or Board Eligible (within five years)
• ATLS Required
• Minimum 1-3 Years Emergency Medicine Experience
• Comfortable Supervising APPs
• Able to Work Days, Swings, and Nights
