We are seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for ongoing locum tenens coverage in South Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-acuity, physician-supported Level II Trauma Center with modern facilities and strong clinical support.
Overview
5-20 shifts per month
Nights shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM), with a primary need for weekends
Comfortable treating patients of all ages
Approximately 75,000 annual ED visits
Dedicated imaging and laboratory services
Very low patient transfer rate
24/7 physician staffing
APP support seven days per week
Additional APP extenders and scribes available
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive emergency medicine care for patients of all ages
Manage a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department
Perform the full range of emergency medicine procedures
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
Emergency Medicine residency training required
Active South Carolina medical license
South Carolina CSR
DEA that can remain permanently registered in South Carolina
