Facility Information HCA Florida Brandon Regional Hospital is a 436-bed full service acute care tertiary teaching hospital, which employs over 2000 Employees, 240 volunteers, 640 Physicians, & 20 Medical Residents. The facility is certified by The Joint Commission in 5 disease specific programs: Primary Stroke, AMI, HF, CABG, Hip & Knee. Chest Pain Center with PCI accreditation and A Fib Center of Excellence by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care. This acute care medical facility is also an approved DCF Baker Act receiving facility as well as honors by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons as a three-star facility. Other key services include a Women’s Center with Level III NICU; pediatric ER, pediatrics and PICU; Heart and Vascular Center; Behavioral Health; Florida Bariatrics Centers; Neuroscience, Orthopedics and Spine centers.
