We are seeking Emergency Medicine physicians to provide ongoing locum coverage in Pennsylvania. Physicians will evaluate and treat a diverse adult and pediatric patient population, including trauma, acute medical conditions, surgical emergencies, and behavioral health cases.
Overview:
Coverage is needed in 3-4 day stretches per week, with an ongoing need.
Trauma Level II Center
Adult/Pediatric mix: 70% Adult / 30% Pediatric
Usually 2 APPs per shift, 1 APP typically covers overnight
Typical cases include: Trauma (MVAs, falls, burns), chest pain, abdominal pain, stroke, sepsis, pneumonia, COPD, infections, allergic reactions, ENT and orthopedic emergencies
Procedures include airway stabilization, fracture care, casting, and emergency assessments
EMR: Epic
Requirements
Board Certified MD or DO in Emergency Medicine
Pennsylvania medical license required (IMLC accepted)
