This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to provide high-quality emergency care within a Level IV Trauma Center.
Provide Critical Care in a Dynamic Environment As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for the independent evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions. Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive medical care to patients presenting with a variety of emergency medical conditions.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform a wide range of emergency procedures, including intubations, chest tubes, and central lines.
- Collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, paramedics, and other specialists.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Qualifications: - Education: Board-certified/board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of emergency medicine experience required.
- FM/IM with extensive emergency and trauma experience accepted (3 years with 250 case logs within the past year).
- Licensure: Eligible for a North Dakota Medical License.
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required.
- Skills: Skilled in emergency procedures and capable of managing diverse patient demographics.
Schedule: - Full-time, 12-hour shifts (day/night/weekend rotations).
- 24-hour physician coverage with 12 hours of mid-level assistance during peak hours.
