Mercy Hospital is recruiting an emergency medicine physician (Family Medicine trained are welcome) for four critical-access hospitals located outside of Fort Smith, AR in Ozark, Booneville, Paris, and Waldon. We are a hospital-employed group with no partnership track/buy-in and equal parity, scheduling, and vote from day one! • 25-bed, critical access hospital
• Annual ED volume of 5,000-10,000 patients
• Easy transfers (ground and air) to Mercy Hospital – Fort Smith, a trauma center and tertiary hospital within the same network
• Hospitalists available 24-hours per day for admissions
• No hospitalist work or inpatient rounding required
• MRI and CT available
• Basic emergency procedures are available including Glidescope and Ultrasound
• No trauma designation
• Less than 1.5 patients per hour on average
• EPIC EMR across Mercy
• Rated in the top 5% nationally for overall clinical excellence by Healthgrades
• Named in the top 100 critical-access hospitals in the US
