Job Requirements - ABEM board certification required
- ABPS may be considered in select cases with appropriate emergency medicine experience
- New graduates with the required board certification are welcome to apply
- Ability to work night shifts
- Comfort managing care in a single-coverage emergency department
- Active emergency department experience preferred
- Case logs may be required for credentialing
- Clean credentialing file may support emergency privileges
Responsibilities - Provide high-quality emergency medicine care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute medical presentations
- Manage patient flow efficiently in a 12-bay ED
- Work independently as the sole Emergency Medicine Physician on shift
- Collaborate with nursing staff and on-site radiology support teams
- Use Meditech Expanse for documentation and clinical workflow
- Deliver safe, efficient patient care while supporting a positive patient experience
