HCA Florida Westside Hospital is currently seeking full-time Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team in Plantation, FL to cover both at the main ED and the associated, brand new FSED in Plantation with another FSED coming online September 2027! Details:

- 55 hours physician coverage
- 20 hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverage
- EMR: Meditech (upgrade to Expanse 10/2026 with AI dictation)
- Approximately 5% pediatrics
- Admission rate approximately 25%
- DNV Comprehensive stroke faculty with new biplane
- Interventional cardiac catheterization facility
- On Call Specialties: General Surgery, Cardiothoracic surgery, Interventional cardiology, Interventional neuroradiology, IR, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic surgery, Podiatry, PERT, Urology, Vascular Surgery
- 24-hour in-house hospitalists
- 24-hour in-house intensivists
- No floor code or consult responsibilities
- Accredited EM Residency into 5th year- 3 Year Emergency Medicine Residency. Opportunity to participate as clinical faculty for EM residents
Qualifications Candidates must be Board Certified or in American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM). Must also have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
