Licenses: Active Indiana medical license, IN Controlled Substance license, DEA with IN address and schedules II-IV
DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Indiana address and schedules II-IV; IN Controlled Substance license required
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
Experience: EM residency graduates within 12 months acceptable; otherwise 5+ years continuous full-time experience in high-volume ED (>30,000 visits/year)
Other Qualifications: Case logs for past 2 years; CME attestation required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED
Perform moderate sedation and other emergency procedures as required
Supervise and collaborate with NP/PA providers
Coordinate with specialty consultants for ENT, orthopedics, GYN, etc.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies
