Lincoln Memorial University's DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine to join our Clinical Medicine faculty in Knoxville, Tennessee.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an Emergency Medicine physician who enjoys teaching the next generation of osteopathic physicians while maintaining clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor osteopathic medical students and residents.
• Lead and facilitate hands-on procedural and skills laboratories at LMU-DCOM and affiliated Graduate Medical Education (GME) partner institutions.
• Design and deliver competency-based procedural training sessions.
• Participate in clinical education, scholarly activity, and service consistent with the mission of LMU-DCOM.
• Required Qualifications
• D.O. or M.D. degree.
• AOA or ABMS Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Eligible for Tennessee medical licensure through the Tennessee Board of Osteopathic Examination/Tennessee Medical State Board.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum of five years of clinical and/or academic teaching experience.
• Experience in medical education, resident instruction, simulation, procedural skills training, or academic leadership is preferred.
• Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
