About the Position: This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Responsible for the full range of cases and the immediate initial recognition, evaluation, care, and disposition of patients. Provide recommendations on additional diagnostic or treatment procedures in clinical conferences and/or discussions with staff physicians. Direct and provide oversight of the operation of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to include nurses, paramedics, paraprofessionals, administrative and ambulance personnel and pre-hospital medical management of patients. Provide consultative advice on professional and administrative matters concerning patient care in the Emergency Department. Make recommendations regarding changes to policies, procedures and programs needed for efficient department operations. Provide a broad range of medical diagnosis, treatment, counseling, services and referrals to primary care and specialty clinics.
