About the Role
The Program Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading the development of Cleveland Clinic's PEM fellowship. This position offers the rare opportunity to build a program from the ground up, mentor future leaders in pediatric emergency medicine, and contribute to a nationally respected academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing oversight of the PEM fellowship program
Ensure full compliance with ACGME accreditation requirements and standards
Recruit, mentor, and evaluate fellows in both clinical and scholarly activities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance pediatric emergency care
Design, implement, and continuously evaluate curriculum and educational outcomes
Qualifications
Board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
Demonstrated leadership experience within academic medicine or graduate medical education
Strong commitment to teaching, mentorship, and faculty development
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
